Soccer Game Update
March 29th- West Jordan vs. Cottonwood has been cancelled due to snow. Game will be rescheduled to Friday, April 5th at West Jordan.
Soccer Program Updates
1- The Varsity and JV soccer season schedule has changed and been updated on the website. Thank you for coming out to our games we appreciate your support.
2- The West Jordan Sophomore Soccer Club Team has been working hard and will have their first scrimmage vs. Ajax FC this Saturday (3/23) at Galena Park in Draper. Kick off 6pm. Please come out and support them.
3- The West Jordan Boys Soccer Store is up and ready for you to buy fan wear. We have many options for our fans this year so come out to the games looking great.

Season Updates
West Jordan Sophomore Soccer Club Team- Tryouts will be Monday, March 11th at 6pm. We will be at Jordan Ridge Elementary (2636 W 9800 S). School announcements will say tryouts will be at WJHS but location has changed please help get the message out.
Varsity and JV Team- We are doing team and individual photos tomorrow 3/11 on the turf field at 3:30pm. Please wear your black kit- jersey, shorts and socks.

2019 SOCCER TRYOUTS
Thank you players for coming out to soccer tryouts. Soccer cuts are posted under the "More" tab and then tryout page.
A quick reminder and great news, WJHS Soccer will have a Sophomore soccer team this year. If you did not make cuts this week, please come back next Monday for Freshman/Sophomore soccer tryouts. More information to come.
Soccer tryouts update- We will be outside Monday and Tuesday from 3:30pm-5:30pm all grades. Please come 15 minutes early to register and prepare. We will be on on the turf field, enter from the south parking lot.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the Players, Parents, Boosters, and Coach Hill for their hard work and commitment to the HS indoor soccer season.

Winter Soccer Camp
Please come out to the open gym on Thursday, January 3rd and find out more about the boys winter soccer camp. (7pm-8:30pm for Freshman and Sophomores and 8:30pm-10pm for Juniors and Seniors)
The soccer camp will start Wednesday, January 9th. Please see the form for more details. This year we will include both indoor soccer and weight training. The camp cost $50 dollars and will include training for January, February, and camp t-shirt. You can sign up and pay for the camp on Thursday at the open gym. You will need a parent to sign the waiver form.
**UPDATE** We don't have access to the gym on January 3rd for Open Gym but we will still get together for a soccer meeting and go into the fitness room to condition. We will have the meeting in the Drivers Ed room, D1 room.

Schedule for this week
Jaguars- great work in St. George, you played 3 games in 24hrs and that's tough on the body. We will take Monday 3.12 off and training will start up again on Tuesday. Take the day off to recover and catch up on homework.
Tuesday-Thursday: Varsity training begins at 3pm and JV at 3:30pm. Training will be roughly 2 hrs. Always bring cleats and indoor shoes.
We are looking to have a team dinner on Thursday and Parent/Player team meeting on Thursday after the team dinner. The meeting is to regroup before region games start and go over updates.
Referee clinic available, Saturday 3/3.

Practice Schedule
Practice for Thursday 3/1. We are outside on the football field bring both cleats and indoor shoes too.
We are splitting practice into 2 sessions.
3pm-4:30pm Juniors and Seniors. We will start in the gym and then go outside.
4pm-5:30pm Freshman and Sophomores. Meet in the gym and then go outside.
We are looking to have a combined indoor practice for both teams Friday (3/2) and Saturday (3/3).
Friday- 7:30pm-9pm in the gym.
Saturday- 10am-12pm.
Open Gym Schedule
We will be indoor this week due to weather. Plan on regular dates and times, see Open Gym form.
St. George Schedule
Players will be check out early Thursday morning and will be back late afternoon Saturday. We have 3 games and team event Saturday morning.
Game 1- Thursday 3/8 7pm Varsity and 8:30pm JV. WJ vs. Skyridge. Field- Little Valley 2.
Game 2- Friday 3/9 11:30am Varsity and 1:15pm JV. WJ vs. Timpanogas. Field- Hurricane.
Game 3- Friday 3/9 6:30pm Varsity and 7:45pm JV. WJ vs. Deseret Hills. Field- Desert Hills.
